The Release Radar - March 2026

Hey everyone! Chad here from Legendary Cardboard. I'm super excited to share what's dropping this month because honestly, March is looking INSANE for TCG releases. We've got some major heat coming through the shop, and I want to make sure you're all looped in so you don't miss out.

Here's what we've got hitting the shelves this month:

MARCH 6th - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Magic: The Gathering

Okay, this one is going to be WILD. When Wizards announced they were doing a TMNT crossover, my phone blew up with texts from regulars asking if we'd be stocking it. The answer is YES - but fair warning, this stuff is going to move fast.

Here's what we'll have available:

- Booster Boxes (30 packs, 12 cards each)

- Commander Decks (100 cards with 43 brand new MTG cards)

- Bundles (9 booster packs)

- 4-Deck Cases

- Team Up 4-Box Cases

My honest take? The Commander decks are going to be the hot ticket item. Crossover sets like this always sell out quick because you've got MTG players AND TMNT collectors both wanting in. If you want one, I'd plan to swing by early on release day. First come, first served - no holds on this one.

MARCH 27th - Pokémon Mega Evolution & First Partner Collection

This is a triple drop day and I'm here for it. Three different Pokémon products all releasing at once:

First Partner Illustration Collection Box - If you're into the OG partner Pokémon (you know, Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Pikachu), this box is for you. The artwork on these is absolutely beautiful.

Mega Evolution ME3 Perfect Order - Mega Evolutions are always popular, and these premium collections tend to have some solid chase cards. If you're building a Mega Evolution deck or just collecting, don't sleep on this one.

Q1 2026 Mini Portfolio - Just a solid storage solution for keeping your collection organized and protected.

From what I'm seeing, the First Partner boxes are going to appeal to nostalgia collectors, while the Mega Evolution stuff will be popular with both players and collectors. History tells us these collection boxes don't sit on shelves long, so if you see something you want, grab it.

APRIL PREVIEW

Looking ahead to April, we've got:

- April 17: Yu-Gi-Oh! Rarity Collection V

- April 24: Magic: The Gathering - Secrets of Strixhaven

The Yu-Gi-Oh! Rarity Collection continues the trend of premium reprints for collectors. And Strixhaven returning is exciting - that magical school theme was a fan favorite for Commander and Limited play.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS

All these products will be available in-store on their release dates. I know some of you have been asking about pre-orders, but honestly, for hot releases like these, we do first come first served in-store. It keeps things fair and gives everyone a shot.

A couple things to remember:

- Release dates can change (though these look pretty solid)

- Call ahead if you want to check availability

- Come early on release day if you really want something specific

As always, if you have questions about any of these releases, just give us a call at (346) 353-6769 or swing by the shop. We're at 18321 W Lake Houston Pkwy, Suite 480 in Atascocita.

Looking forward to seeing you all on release days!
